The good news is you can get up to 75 per cent of your donation back through generous tax credits. How does it work?
- 75 per cent on the first $437 of donations
- 50 per cent on the portion of your donation between $437 and $1,457
- 33.33 per cent on the portion between $1,457 and $3,315
So, a donation of $100 could cost you as little as $25 and a $400 contribution as little as $100. You can learn more about individual donation limits here.
